Service and schedule limits encourage teams to compress the systems Firewatch is supposed to model. Alert-based billing makes costs least predictable when reliability is already having a bad month.

Does Firewatch Cloud have a free plan?
No. Firewatch Cloud is the paid, managed service. Firewatch Community is the free, open-source version you operate on your own infrastructure.
Who counts as an on-call responder?
A person who can be placed on a schedule or escalation step. Collaborators who view, coordinate, or follow work do not consume a paid seat.
What if someone is only a responder for part of a month?
Assigning responder access at any point counts as one paid responder seat for that full billing month. Changing the person back to a collaborator does not remove that month’s charge.
How does annual billing work?
We’ll publish monthly and annual responder pricing before paid billing begins. Contact us during the private beta for a plan that fits your team.
What happens if we exceed the notification allowance?
The allowance is pooled across your organization to absorb normal month-to-month variation. We will publish fair, generous overage and abuse-prevention terms before paid billing begins; alert and incident counts will not become the primary pricing model.
Do you help with migrations?
Migration assistance is included with Enterprise. We may also help early Cloud customers map schedules and escalation policies from Opsgenie, Grafana OnCall, and improvised rotation systems.
